Horticulture Camp - Global Bucket project
Shelby Farmer of Oakland and Sara Brewer of Columbus plant tomatoes as part of a "global bucket" project, which utilizes low-cost materials to set up water efficient planter systems. The high school students were among those taking part in MSU's Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp. The three-day program provides hands-on learning experiences in plant identification, interiorscaping, soils, home gardening, turf management, floral design, landscape architecture, vegetable and fruit production, and other horticultural subjects.
