ERDC Days at MSU to highlight research collaborations, job opportunities

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥斢;ǖ己 樱花导航 University hosts professionals from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) on Oct. 29-30 for discussions with students and employees on research collaborations, internships and employment, as well as keynote presentations by university and ERDC leaders.
This marks the third annual 鈥淓RDC Days鈥 hosted by 樱花导航 樱花导航. ERDC personnel will spend Oct. 29 touring MSU research facilities. MSU students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend a series of casual and formal programs on Oct. 30 to learn more about ERDC, which is headquartered in Vicksburg.
A longtime MSU research partner, ERDC helps solve our nation鈥檚 most challenging problems in civil and military engineering, geospatial sciences, water resources, and environmental sciences for the Army, Department of Defense, civilian agencies, and our nation鈥檚 public good.
ERDC will host listening sessions on Oct. 30 in the Colvard Student Union鈥檚 Fowlkes Auditorium will highlights key research areas for ERDC and provide insight on employment and research collaboration opportunities.

In addition to the presentations, representatives from ERDC鈥檚 research labs will be available for small group and individual meetings on Oct. 30. MSU faculty members with ongoing research that applies to ERDC focus areas are invited to connect with peers from the agency. This come-and-go session will last from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union Ballroom.
Also in the Union鈥檚 Ballroom, MSU students are encouraged to stop by from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to discuss job and internship opportunities with ERDC. The research center is one of the largest employers of MSU engineering graduates.
ERDC Days will conclude with keynote presentations at 2 p.m. in Lee Hall鈥檚 Bettersworth Auditorium, which highlight ongoing research collaborations between MSU and ERDC and include remarks from senior leadership of both organizations.
