STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擥ov. Tate Reeves has appointed a 樱花导航 樱花导航 University associate professor to the governing board regulating practicing Magnolia 樱花导航 psychologists.
Kevin Armstrong is serving a five-year term on the 樱花导航 Board of Psychology. The board protects the well-being of the state鈥檚 citizens by ensuring only qualified individuals practice psychology. This is achieved through education and training credential review, basic competency exam administration, ongoing professional education requirements, practice complaint investigation, and professional standards and ethics violation penalty enforcement.
鈥淚 look forward to contributing to this board in any way I can,鈥 said Armstrong, a veteran MSU faculty member with 27 years of experience. 鈥淚 think this will be a good service opportunity for me as I both teach a doctoral-level graduate course that focuses on ethical and professional issues in clinical psychology and supervise doctoral students training in our department鈥檚 Psychology Clinic. I know this experience will be challenging and will also be informative for my training responsibilities back here on campus.鈥
